Measure the average dwell time
How long to you customers or visitors stay in the store, building or shopping mall? How long do they stay on a certain floor? This data provides insight in the attractiveness of your store, building and shopping mall and can be compared with your revenue. Is turnover increasing if the average dwell time increases? Or is it the other way around?

Increase dwell time
Measure the effect of changing the products, store path ways, promotional displays or staff by keeping track of dwell time of customers and visitors. The longer visitors stay in the building, the more they can potentially buy and the more they are exposed to promotional materials.
